Manager, Program Management
Job Summary:
The Manager, Program Management brings excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills, to lead diverse and dynamic teams in the successful delivery of complex integrated client solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the development of project estimations and integrated project plans, ensuring key roles and responsibilities are defined.
Establish and maintain processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle. Identifies and manage project issues.
Set project quality and performance standards. Assess and manage risk over the project lifecycle.
Build and organize project teams (ranging in size from 15-25) to ensure maximum performance.
Provide day-to-day project contact for the client (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.).
Participate and assists in key company events, such as training and internal initiatives and recruitment support.
Experience Guidelines
5-10 years of industry experience
2+ years project management experience in successfully delivering internet solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization
Led diverse teams of 10 or more people in dynamic and fast-paced environments
Accountability for budget or client revenue of $3mm or higher
1-2 years of client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships (preferably at the executive level)
Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery
Led teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, and strategy)
Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ or more individuals
Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies preferred Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project; knowledge of Visio
Frequent travel may be required.

Description:
We have an urgent need for an Oracle Forms Lead developer position in Boston, MA.
MUST HAVE
A strong 'hands-on' 8-10 yrs of experience with Oracle forms, Oracle, PL SQL, UNIX technologies.
Proven ability on the role of 'Junior Technical Lead/Lead Developer' position, ability to design and architect technical solutions for ranging Customer requirements (minor enhancements to complex major changes). Proven ability in development and maintenance of Oracle forms.
Strong Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.
Experience in 'Agile' development methodology a Plus.
Prior experience working in onsite-offshore model where development work is primarily done from offsite locations.
He/She should be able to transfer the system requirements to offshore team, get most of the development work done from them and review it to make sure it meets highest quality standards.
Should be able to act as a 'link' between the Business/functional team and Technical team on effectively implementing Business requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Computer Science degree or related field

This exciting leadership opportunity for a senior-level Project Management professional encompasses all facets of project management, client management and team leadership. Manages the career of up to 6 individuals.
Participates in, and assists with, company events such as training and internal initiatives.
Contributes to the ongoing development of the Program Management Domain and community at Sapient.

Experience Guidelines
5-10 years of industry experience
2+ years project management experience in successfully delivering solutions in Financial Services organizations, preferably Hedge Funds and/or Investment Banks
Extensive Capital Markets expertise. Significant domain knowledge in capital markets across asset classes and front/mid/back office functions
Led diverse teams of 10 or more people in dynamic and fast-paced environments
Accountability for budget or client revenue of $3mm or higher
1-2 years of client management experience with primary accountability for peer-level client relationships (preferably at the executive level)
Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery
Led teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, and strategy)
Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ or more individuals
Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies preferred Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project; knowledge of Visio
Frequent travel may be required.

Job Summary:
This exciting leadership opportunity for a senior-level Project Management professional encompasses all facets of project management, client management and team leadership. The most typical project roles for the Manager, Program Management are Track Lead (TL), which usually consists of leading tracks of work (3-8 people) as part of a larger project, and Project Manager (PM), which consists of leading project teams of 15-25 people.
He/she must have a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and integrated solutions to our client’s challenging business problems.
He/she must have solid problem solving skills, business skills, verbal and written communication skills. The Manager, Program Management must have excellent relationship building skills, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. He/she must have a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and integrated solutions to our client's challenging business problems.
