We have an immediate need for an IT Project Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity for a twelve month contract assignment for an IT Project Coordinator working with one of our clients in Boston, Massachusetts. This Project Coordinator will support the implementation of a large managed IPT project with 165 remote sites supporting approximately 23k users. This Project Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of logistics and order management team; will provide status reports for all equipment orders; will develop and manage RMA processes and back orders; will participate in weekly meetings to discuss order status; will confirm hardware deliveries against bills of materials to ensure all hardware for a given site has been received in time for configuration and deployment; will act as interface between Operations team and NOC; will maintain inventory tracking spreadsheets detailing hardware status on a per site basis and post to the portal including serial numbers where appropriate; will manage subcontractor schedules; and will maintain weekly internal/external meting schedule and post to portal.
Required knowledge and skills include knowledge in the design/operation of network transport architectures and experience utilizing PMI based project management methodologies; will have a minimum of three years experience in a project coordination role supporting data/voice/video product implementations; and will have experience coordinating and managing project labor resources, including engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and all other personnel involved with the execution of the project.
