Job Function/Purpose
The SAP Application Analyst's role is to analyze, plan, design, develop, and launch efficient SAP
Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) systems in support of core organizational functions and business

Principle Activities/Duties
1. Analyze, plan, design, develop, and launch efficient SAP Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) systems in

2. Responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable
causes and possible solutions to systems issues, recommended improvements to - or new
requirements for - business processes and operational procedures.
3. Responsible for full customizing, configuring and testing the interoperability of application modules,
specifically the SAP FI/CO module while adhering to the Change Management, Configuration
Management and System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines.
4. With minimum supervision, applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to
help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to
specifications.
5. Acts as focal point for all FI/CO issues group-wide and works with small team of other focal points.
6. Trains end-users where applicable.
7. Maintains a current awareness of information technology.
8. Provides status updates regarding project activities as required by IT Management.
9. Participates in the Quality Improvement Process
10. Travel required.
Experience: 7 - 10 years of progressive work experience Experience in corporate accounting and/or information systems or business process experience. SAP development and deployment is critical.     Customer Cases:
    Handle incoming customer calls and cases for Eclipsys Sunrise Record Manager (SRM) /Sunrise Decision Support Manager (SDSM)). Provides real time support for external clients through a variety of contact points including incoming calls, web requests, as well as service requests logged into Clarify, the corporate case management system. Provides client assistance promptly and accurately to ensure client satisfaction by using proper departmental procedures for call control, problem resolution, reporting and escalation.
    Clinical Knowledge:
    Maintains an understanding of clinical terminology, practices and workflows.
    Financial Knowledge:
    Maintain an understanding of the principles and concepts of Managerial Accounting that serves as the foundation of the SDSM product.
    Product Knowledge:
    Maintain and increase personal knowledge of Eclipsys solutions/applications by initiating research through all appropriate resources including shadowing other analysts. Proactively complete product training via eConnects, on-site classes and handbooks of processes and procedures. Develops knowledge of product install/Hotfix deployment. Act as a mentor to new analysts.
