As part of a formal data quality program, the data modeler documents data models according to best practices in order to maximize the quality and timeliness of information while minimizing the duplication of data. The Data Modeler is responsible for the delivery of data model(s) that drives the deployment of robust, dynamic, and innovative technical applications that solve enterprise-wide business problems. Our CLIENT is seeking a Data Architect that will provide architectural leadership in developing enterprise data models and standards, logical and physical data base designs, and cross system/database modeling and data transformations.
The data architect will participate in large enterprise initiatives, starting with the Supply Chain Program, to provide data modeling and data architecture support to the business process teams, master data stewards, developers and users of the data.
The Architect will be responsible for constructing and maintaining enterprise and applciation data models and relationships between systems based on the "Best Practices" for the software solutions being implemented such as the SAP ERP package for the Supply Chain Program.
The Architect is also repsonsible for the drafting of architectural standards, data mapping and transformation standards, guidelines and polcies.

- Provide leadership in developing the Enterprise Data Architecture and Management strategy and implementation plan.
- Work with business process and IS teams to develop data conversion, migration, cleansing and maintenance strategy, plan and processes.
- Select and implement methods, processes and tools for data modeling and defining the current and target data architecture.
- Develop procedures, policies, standards and governance models for enterprise data.
