Systems/Business Analyst with Derivative (#8577421) in Boston, MA

Quantronix needs a Systems/Business Analyst with Derivative to work at our Client's site. Our client is a large Investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets.The ideal candidate has to address important systems in an area that is one of the firms highest priorities. The scope of the program will cover all aspects of the investment life cycle: portfolio modeling, order creation, compliance checking, trading, settlements, performance measurement and reporting. The Systems/Business Analyst will be responsible for providing systems and business analysis for derivatives processing related to the Geneva portfolio accounting system, the portfolio accounting engine for all accounts. Outbound consumers of Genevas holdings and transaction information include applications and reports uses by Global Performance Services (GPS), GRM, Portfolio Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Compliance and Senior Management. The Systems/Business Analyst must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of tasks with people at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities will include requirements collection and documentation across business and IS teams, functional specification preparation and interfacing with development teams during design and testing.This position requires a background in derivatives and experience with operations systems. A background in portfolio accounting is preferred.

Requirements:

Required Skill/Experience/Desireable Minimum 5 years experience in Business Analysis. Minimum 5 years experience in Writing System Specifications. Minimum 5 years experience in System Implementations/analysis. Experience in Project Management/Microsoft Project is Desirable. Experience in PL/SQL Query Writing Desirable.Qualification; Bachelors degree in MIS or Business related field. Diverse job experiences in system implementations.

Senior Systems/Business Analyst (#8580222) in Boston, MA

Quantronix needs a Systems Support Analyst to work at our Client's site. Our client is a large Investments firm, handling over $ 500 Billion in assets.The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will be responsible for providing systems and business analysis for the portfolio accounting system and its integration points with other systems. Projects will include the final stages of an application upgrade, followed by the implementation of withholdings taxes, crossing zero, and amortization transaction processing enhancements. In addition enhancements required to improved global office available and batch cycle performance will also be implemented. This person must be able to provide business analysis for requirements documentation, integration/UAT test planning, as well as working through the entire life cycle for implementation. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization. Daily Activities:- This person will work with different business users in Client Administration to gather business requirements write functional specifications and testing plans. - The person will also be responsible for participating in integration testing and working with the business on user acceptance testing. - The person will also participate in the implementation phase of the new system.

Requirements:

Tools/Technologies - Minimum 6 years experience in Business Analysis. - Minimum 6 years experience in Writing System Specifications. - Minimum 6 years experience in Systems Implementations/Analysis.- Experience in Project Management/Microsoft Project is desirable.- Experience in PL/SQL Highly Desirable.Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance or Business related field.
