Job's role:
Take a device, understand it, write code, test it, prepare pres. (tech & commercial aspects) and present to techno centre or BU within FT personality Skills: the most important attributes are "can do" attitude, flexibility, interpersonal & collaboration ethics, diplomacy Structure: 60% coding; 30% liaison; 10% internal presentations.

Technical skills:
C++ and Java; ideally someone w/ Python skills (not required for the job, but indicates a forward looking mindset). Job applicants should have written mobile applications on Symbian or Windows mobile, preferably both. Position will not require a lot of web code, but Steve wants someone proficient w/ web technologies (an engineer who has kept up to speed in recent years)

IT Strategy - Associate Partner (level), UNIX Arch in Boston, MA
