Sr. Systems Engineer in Boston, MA

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer for analysis, design, deployment and support of network systems and related security solutions.

The following abilities and skills are required:
A self-motivated person who works well in a fast paced, energetic team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills.?
Minimum 5 years experience with the design, implementation, and support of core Microsoft server systems (all Windows Server and Exchange Server platforms), including migrations and analysis of existing environments.
Minimum 3 years? experience with the design, implementation, and support of Citrix Access Solutions, including Presentation Server, Secure Gateway/Web Interface, and Access Gateway/Advanced Access Control.
Proficiency with security features? and components related to network systems implementation, including OS hardening, IIS security and Antivirus/SPAM/content filtering.
Proficiency? with HP Proliant server platforms and related technologies, including blade server infrastructure and
technologies.
Experience with Symantec/Veritas? backup solutions (or similar platforms)
Fundamental knowledge of LAN / WAN? infrastructure

Responsibilities include:
Installation and support of network? systems and related security solutions for a diverse customer base.
? Analysis of existing customer environments including recommendations aligned with technical and business needs
Installation and support of LAN / WAN /? firewall technologies as training and experience allow.

Preferred certifications:
MCSE 2003 (up-to-date required), Citrix CCEA, Cisco CCNA

VMware ESX and GSX? experience
SAN and related storage solution experience?
Novell? platform implementation and migration experience
Linux platform? experience
LAN / WAN, Layer 2 / Layer 3 expertise?
