Decision Support Systems Analyst (11850) in Boston, MA

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Decision Support Systems Analyst to join our team in Boston, MA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Primary contact for the hospital's Decision Support users, supporting the Finance user community (to include the CFO, Controller, Director of Finance and Manager of Decision Support).
  • Coordinate meetings with end-users / clients and have primary responsibility for analysis of user requests and translation of same into technical specifications and subsequently for executing these requests.
  • Responsible for all extracts from Hospital systems into the Transition II database, modifying and enhancing these extracts as needed.
  • Responsible for Transition II Implementation from a technical perspective.
  • Support Transition II Application, interface with Eclipsys Outsource Database Administrative Team.
  • Ensure integrity of data flowing through extracts from source applications to Transition II Application and ensure integrity of data in Transition II Database Files.
  • Responsible for all Change Control / Production Management of Extracts, Model 204 Programs and Transition II Application.

    Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Decision Support with an understanding of Decision Support from a Healthcare, Finance and Clinical perspective, with premier Decision Support Product (ideally with Eclipsys Transition II)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with Decision Support/Data warehouse database administration, user language programming and an ability to write complete ad hocs in a significantly complex environment (ideally with CCA's Model 204 Database product)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Mainframe programming - MVS, TSO, JCL, Easytrieve+, COBOL., DFSort, Syncsort.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Desired Skills:
  • Specific experience with Eclipsys Transition II
  • Specific experience with CCA's Model 204 Database product
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of users
