The Director of Information Technology will report directly to the Director of Technical Operations, and will be responsible for managing a small IT support staff. The Director of IT is charged with responsibilities that include the operation and maintenance of our in-house data network. In addition the Director of IT will insure that the programming, sales, traffic, business, engineering, and web/interactive departments have the tools they require to do their jobs and compete in today's dynamic radio market.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 7 years experience in Information Technology, and 3 years Managing an IT Department. Good interpersonal skills and a BA degree in computer science, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator are desirable. Commercial Radio Broadcast experience preferred.

Software:

HP StorageWorks 2/8q FC Switch \ Backup Hardware, HP\Compaq Servers, Cisco 6509, 2800, E510 firewall equipment, and Desktop Hardware.

Responsible for support and the administration of our networks, assist programmers and system managers with deploying, administering, managing, and supporting systems. The manager must have experience in budgets and contract writing in a consultant based environment, as well as having project management skills (Microsoft Project).

We are seeking a strong technical Manager and PC troubleshooter to manage many aspects of the handheld ticket writer installation and our 100 + node, multi-site Windows NT network. The Technical Managers responsibilities will include the installation, repair, configuration, maintenance, and management of our Windows NT servers, desktop computers, printers and PC applications. This individual will also install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers and applications.

Experience:
BSBA degree plus 5 years experience (minimum 2+ yrs strong computer/ financial experience). Proficiency w/ MS Office Suite and Access. Must have strong interpersonal skills, plus excellent verbal and written business communication skills to interact with our clients and provide excellent service.

Desktop Support in Boston, MA

Responsibilities include: provide day-to-day technical support on the phone and at desk side, hardware and software configuration issues, maintenance, repairs, equipment exchanges, moves and any special projects under direction of a project manager. This person will be expected to work closely with the Business Units, need to be extremely professional.
