IT Project Manager (Level III) in Boston, MA

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager/Technical Analyst. The PM/TA will perform duties similar to a Business Analyst but more focused on project management. There will be heavy project planning and reporting involved. All candidates should have the ability to talk to technical resources. The projects this resource will be focusing on are Retention and Servicing of historical data as it applies to the decommissioning of legacy apps. The group is decommissioning these legacy apps as they are selling off a piece of their business.



Responsibilities:

Work with development managers who support mainframe and desktop applications. No hands on experience required. No project budgeting but estimates will be required. Successful candidates will be required to execute all project plans, estimates, project status reports, Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques, manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan (matrix organization). Establishes basic scope control procedures. Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation.

Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities. Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation. Cross Domain expertise (Mid Range / Mainframe / Desktop)



Experience: Required Skills:
-5+ years experience as a Project Manager/Technical Analyst

Director, Program Management - Client Executive

Summary:
Leadership opportunity with multiple of Sapient’s household name clients
The Client Executive role encompasses that all facets of account/client management, strategic advisory role to clients, delivery oversight, and team/people leadership

Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and manage client expansion strategy

Experience Guidelines:
10-12 years minimum experience in client relations and business development
Significant experience with Digital Commerce/Content Management solutions required – Retail experience highly desired
Significant experience in a Consulting organization required
Demonstrated ability to grow business by breaking into different areas of a client organization.
Worked to build multiple account relationships and grow them year on year in both revenue and profit
Strong and inspirational leadership skills

Job Title: Director, Technology – Service Delivery Lead (SDL)

Job Summary

The Director, Technology – SDL is one of the senior most delivery roles within Sapient blending delivery, operations, people management and growth, and business development. In particular we are looking for a person who brings expertise in designing and delivering Digital Commerce and/or Content Management solutions.

The Service Delivery Lead should bring a unique blend of experience and expertise encompassing technical architecture and design combined with exceptional project/ program and people management skills. This person will provide vision and leadership to teams across a portfolio of clients. The Director will demonstrate a broad technical knowledge including technologies such as Websphere and/or ATG and various Content Management technologies such as Interwoven and Vignette and will be able to advise teams on a technical basis as needed.

The Director will work with the Business lead to establish goals and priorities and will work with Client Executives to expand the portfolio. The SDL will drive the process improvement mentality across the portfolio and inspire excellence in teams. As a critical part of the Sapient organization the Director, Technology – Service Delivery Lead will visibly participate in the growth of the organization.
