Software Engineer in Boston, MA
Description of Function and Responsibilities: Experienced systems developer responsible for developing web services, data publishing infrastructure and development of web-based workflow systems. The web service component is highly reliable, 24/7 production system answering tens to hundreds of millions of queries per day about the safety of individual web sites. Must be detail oriented and enjoy building large robust production systems. Experience Required: Experience developing large systems in Java or Python using Linux/Apache/Tomcat/MySQL Understanding of performance, security and scalability of web-based applications required.
