Our client has an immediate need to hire a Project Manager for a long term contract.

Under minimal direction, leads project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IT infrastructure projects. Facilitates needs assessments and the development of recommended solutions to be used. Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs. operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risk. Contributes to project estimation process.

Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on activities related to the project. Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues. Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria. Manages changes in operational plan. Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan. Undertakes status review meetings among project team members and clients. Works with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.

Must have 5-7 years of experience in IT operations, server and end user support environment. Must have knowledge of ITIL or ITSM or other standard/best practices related to IT technical services management. Prior work experience within a large technical support group desirable.

    SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
    Under minimal supervision, the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will work with the marketing staff and systems partners to define, document and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Control (QC) plans to ensure compliance with business requirements. In addition, the SQAA will analyze and audit processes and recommend improvements to increase scale and effiency.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Participate in formal reviews of business and functional requirements
    Participate in UAT / QC approach, strategy and planning sessions
    Create and execute UAT / QC plans based upon business requirements
    Develop UAT / QC data requirements and use case scenarios
    Document, maintain and monitor issues lists until resolution
    Update weekly status reports and metrics
    Analyze and audit processes and recommend improvements
    Analyze expected vs. actual UAT / QC results
    Identify UAT / QC research items, issues and problems
    Document root cause analysis and business impact
    Re-test UAT / QC issues and problems until resolution

    This position will be relocating to Smithfield RI in Summer 2008. Initially it will be in Boston.
    Experience: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum 2 years software or data testing experience
    Experience interpreting business requirements and specifications in order to document business use cases and scenarios in a UAT / QC plan
    Experience with Fidelity's Software Delivery Methodology (FSDM) or a comparable structured software development methodology

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    Ability to work effectively with cross-organizational and matrixed teams
    Strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills
    Ability to work effectively as a member of a team or an individual contributor
