Job Responsibilities: Provide clinical analyst support on Soarian implementation team Respond to issues reported by nurses, physicians, and other users Research and resolve issues in a timely fashion Build enhancements to current functionality using Soarian application tools Provide excellent customer service: communicate in a friendly and professional manner, empathize with users on system issue impacts, set appropriate expectations on issue resolution Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation, to troubleshoot and resolve system issues escalated by the help desk Collaborate with Siemens support personnel to research and resolve Soarian product issues Participate in detailed testing of software updates Use technical and analytical skills to determine best approaches to tailoring system to meet individual requirements Develop strong and positive rapport with nursing users, particularly Nursing Information Systems Director, to ensure that clinicians’ needs are quickly prioritized and addressed Participate in Siemens User Groups and online listservs and review contents of Siemens Customer Memos to ensure optimization of the capabilities of the Soarian system Must be local to the Boston area. Required Skills: 3+ years in a strong technical/analytical background demonstrated through prior IT education and/or experience Ability to learn new vendor applications quickly and utilize application tools to tailor system to meet user requirements Report writing experience (ideally with Crystal Reports or similiar) Must be comfortable and professional on the phone supporting end-users Excellent customer service orientation, including excellent communication skills Flexibility and can-do attitude Must be a team player and demonstrate interest in a long-term role with Perot Systems Desired Skills: Exposure to the basic elements of healthcare information technology, via Healthcare Academy orientation / training or information systems experience in a healthcare setting basic understanding of clinical data Passion for supporting nursing and physicians Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience More about Perot Systems At Perot Systems, we are looking for candidates that have a high level of integrity, are tenacious and can thrive in a team environment.
