Summary
As a Senior Systems Analyst (Security Master and Pricing), you will manage projects throughout the systems development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, functional specifications, systems and integration testing, and documentation. You will work directly with end users in the Investment Data Services (IDS) group, software developers and database architects in IS, and software and data vendors. We are outsourcing the CSM (Company Security Master) work and this individual will manage that process.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Managing projects throughout the systems development lifecycle
- Coordinating the development and support of at least some of the following systems and initiatives:
- Company Security Master (CSM)
- Security Pricing System
- Automated Data Setup and Scrub Engine ('Bloomberg')
- Quality Ratings
- XSP (corporate actions)
- Firmwide initiatives
- Enterprise Reporting
- Disaster Recovery preparation
- New Trading System integration
- Ongoing support, problem resolution, and responding to ad hoc requests

Experience: You must possess the following qualities:
- Strong Systems Analysis skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Required Background/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in systems analysis
- 3+ years of IS experience supporting investment applications, including experience with Security Master and Pricing
- SQL skills are required. Need to be able to query the database and mine data (not programming)
- Strong understanding of software development practices
- Project management experience
- Relational database experience and strong SQL skills
Major Pluses to have
- Experience in an outsourced environment
- Experience working with market data vendors and index data feeds
- Oracle 8i experience and familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL
- Familiarity with "Use Cases" methodology for capturing business requirements
