Systems Manager III in Boston, MA

74145 UNIX Administrator with multiple flavors wanted to manage this company's "state of the art", mission critical systems! Responsibilities include:
- Systems network components.

- Installation & maintenance of hardware & operating systems, layered products & some applications support, performance tuning, security, and strategic planning of systems.
Requires:
Knowledge of data processing operations, computer hardware & connectivity, operating systems & networking.
Some high level knowledge of programming / scripting languages is helpful - as is - a working knowledge of IBM's Websphere application infrastructure software.
Hands-on expertise in the following Operating Systems: AIX, Solaris, Tru64 and HP-UX.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of college education in computer science & 3-5 years of related experience as a Systems Manager or equivalent
