Job Summary:
We are seeking high-caliber software architect individual with 12+ years of industry experience with 7+ years in the implementation of security solutions and 3+ years with IBM Tivoli Security solutions. The individual will play a leadership role across all areas in the software development lifecycle on assigned projects. This includes launching new projects, reviewing requirements deliverables, ensuring the technical architecture for the project is determined, ensuring that appropriate deliverable / code reviews are conducted and working with other organizations to prepare for the implementation. The individual will works with developers, business analysts, users, IT management and project managers to fulfill this leadership role. The individual will also liaison with vendors, industry analysts and industry consortiums in the Security space.

Experience: Technical Skills:
Must have
. Software development lifecycle experience: 12+ years
. Distributed, services oriented architecture, usage of Object Oriented design patterns.: 7+ years
. Understanding of security business controls, strategies, and policy management: 7+ years
. Implementation of security solutions for SSO: 7+ years
. Implementation of security solutions using IBM Tivoli security set of products (Web Seal, Tivoli Identity Manager, Tivoli Access Manager. Tivoli Federated Identity Manager Tivoli Directory Integrator, Security Compliance Manager, Tivoli Provisioning Manager): 3+ years
. Strong LDAP skills in design, installation, replication, certificate management: 7+ years
. Understand SOA, Web Services, Service registry and J2EE security principles and software development capabilities using J2EE, and/or .NET
. A background with competitive products (Netegrity SiteMinder, Windows MetaDirectory, iPlanet Directory, Sun ONE, etc) is useful.
. Knowledge of Internet (TCP/IP) Network practices and concepts, Firewall technologies, Encryption technologies and VPN: 7+ years
. Understand audit, performance, HA configuration options
. Understand industry security trends and standards, such as, SAML, Liberty, WS-Federation
. Technical leadership and mentorship skills: 5+ years
. Vendor relationship and management: 5+ years
. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have
. IBM WebSphere, WebSphere Portal design, configuration, installation and management (Experience with other Portal platforms, such as, BEA, Vignette is acceptable).
. Systems administration one or more platforms; Mainframe (z/OS, MVS), Unix (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX), Windows (XP, 2003, 2K)
. IBM product certifications
. Security industry certifications (CISSP, CCIE, CCSE, MCSE)

Education:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
