Documentation, Training & Communications Specialist in BOSTON, MA

? Develop training and documentation for Bain's internal and off-the-shelf systems. The materials may be in print format or on-line and will include training presentations. ? Design and develop materials necessary to support software and infrastructure implementation efforts. This may include internal documentation, promotional materials, ?quick reference? cards, email communications and other forms of communications as appropriate. ? Develop on-line training materials to supplement classroom training where appropriate. Tools for creating on-line materials include Adobe products such as Breeze, Dreamweaver, Captivate, and Flash, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Techsmith?s SnagIt. ? Facilitate end-user training on commercial Windows and proprietary applications. ? Provide writing, editing and marketing assistance to the Training & Communications department. Experience: ? Bachelor?s degree with demonstrated interest in technical communications, technology and technology issues or equivalent education or experience ? Outstanding written and verbal communication skills ? 1-2 years experience writing documentation such as help cards, procedures, or training manuals ? Technical or business writing experience ? Ability to balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, and graphics software (such as Fireworks or PhotoShop) ? Experience with web authoring applications (such as Dreamweaver) and print layout applications is desirable, but not required. ?
