Senior Informatica Developer in Boston, MA

This person will develop complex mappings in Informatica.
They will be responsible for participating as a team member developing Informatica mappings for Data Warehousing.
This candidate must be a self starter who is able to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities
Provide input into standards and best practices for code development.
Create and implement Informatica work flows.
Maintain source code utilizing source control tools like perforce, PVCS, etc.
Design, code and test PL/SQL.
Optimize code performance by analyzing indexes, joins and views.
Logical and physical database design utilizing Erwin or Oracle designer.
Create and implement security models.
Assist and mentor end users and development teams.

Experience: Strong Oracle Development experience.
Understanding of SDLC and production environments.
Logical and physical database design skills required.
Proven track record in IT delivery.
Experience with source code control, perforce, PVCS, etc.
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica 7.x)
Familiarity with Application Server and Oracle forms.

Previous Experience
5 or more years experience as an Informatica developer.
Experience in Data Warehousing, Unix environments, VLDB (over 2 TB).
Experience with server, query and application and performance tuning.
Demonstrated experience in large Integration of legacy systems
Extensive PL/SQL experience.
Experience with ETL tools required
Experience with source control tools.
