Configuration Manager in Boston, MA

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join a long-term contract (6 months +) with one of our clients, a Massachusetts state agency, in downtown Boston. The Configuration Manager will work closely with the development, QA and business teams to manage the configurations of code releases into various environments. In addition, s/he will be working with our Oracle DBA and share some of the responsibilities of our DBA. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to grow their skills in code management as well as Oracle database administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-- Work with business users, QA and development teams to understand, document and manage configurations and code release schedules
-- Work with our Oracle DBA to develop and perform DBA routines

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate MUST have the following experience to be considered for this opportunity:

-- 3+ years of experience analyzing complex data sets and systems
-- 2+ years of hands-on Oracle development and/or database administration
-- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
-- Strong communication skills
-- Track record as a team player
-- Able to prioritize and follow-through on key deliverables
-- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
