Solution Specialist in Boston, MA

We currently have an opening for a Solution Specialist. The Solution Specialist is a seasoned consultant who is able to shape solutions that address specific needs within the scope of a project. They assume increased project responsibility regarding tasks and project deliverables as well as a continuous pursuit of professional development. Job Responsibilities: Work independently or as a member of a project team to implement and validate configurable software solutions to support Life Sciences organizations with their FDA regulated compliance initiatives. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with analysis and requirements gathering. Understanding configurable out-of-the-box software technologies. Understanding the software development life cycle. Documenting system and configuration requirements. Developing validation documentation. Performing validation execution. Executing training. Experience: Characteristics: Individual should be a self-starter who is comfortable working on a client site independently and as a member of a project team. Develops good client relationships and strong communication with their manager and demonstrates these abilities through the identification and communication of issues and the formulation of actionable recommendations. Ability and desire to travel on a weekly basis (could be up to 100% at times, but typically is about 60-80% overnight travel) depending on where you reside. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team. Ability and desire to proactively learn multiple software technologies (i.e. Documentum, Qumas, TrackWise, etc.). Willingness to take direction from project leadership team (Vendor and/or Client). Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner on client site. Ability to manage work time, set priorities and complete responsibilities in line with management and client expectations. Credentials, Skills and Experience: Individual should understand the software development lifecycle and validation deliverables. Individual should have an understanding of software and possess the ability to perform standard configuration tasks. BS in Computer Science or related field. Experience with Qumas and/or TrackWise desired.
