Summary
As a senior member of the Transaction Application team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of FIX infrastructure to support our trading platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, implementation, deployment, and support for our FIX environment and other third-party trading solutions
Lead a small team of engineers in designing and building new functionalities
Work with business analysts to review and implement new requirements
Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates, status reports, planning, and quality assurance tasks
Partner with the infrastructure teams to ensure that our infrastructure is up-to-date with the industry standards
Stay current with evolving Trading industry and technical trends to ensure continuous improvement to the existing systems and applications

Experience: Required Background/Experience

Bachelor's degree
5+ years systems development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
3+ years experience in FIX interface administration and support, preferably with Appia engine
3+ years experience with Solaris and Oracle database programming
Extensive knowledge of Trading solutions such as LiquidNet, Lava, and Omgeo
Experience with Electronic trading, client connectivity, trading interface design, message formats, and certification testing
Knowledge of software development methodologies and experience with automated testing tools
