Bus Systems Analysis Sr Mngr (20008) in Boston, MA

PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Business Systems Analysis Sr Manager to join our team in Boston, MA.

Job Responsibilities:

As member of the account leadership team works with hospital and IS management and staff to determine appropriate IT solutions to complex business issues, including identifying opportunities to improve operations through the use of existing, new or different technologies.
Serves as a liaison between the IS organization and the hospital management and staff.
Manages a staff of 6-8 Business Analysts including direct responsibility for performance evaluation, training, career development.
Supports over 40 clinical applications. For many of these applications, the vendors are principle support; IS’s role is coordination with vendors and users to resolve issues and plan and implement enhancements and upgrades.
As requested, manages IS projects.
Ensures that team members adhere to established Project Management Methodology and operational processes.
Manage staff assignments for projects and ongoing application support.
Promotes and encourages staff to provide high quality customer service; acts as a role model for customer service within the IS organization.

Phillips Cardiology applications
Medhost for the ED
Siemens In Patient Pharmacy
GE Radiology
GE/Logician EMR
IMPAC (Radiation Oncology)
Cerner Classic Lab

Required Skills:

8-10 years experience in the information systems field
3-5 years experience in a hospital setting
3-5 years experience in management within the healthcare environment with at least 5 direct reports
Proven ability to manage projects and staff in both a direct and matrix reporting relationship
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with all levels of organization, including senior clinical managers
Excellent record of successfully solving complex problems across diverse departments and domains both internal and external to IS
Demonstrated ability in navigating complex political landscapes with the ability to exert influence Demonstrated commitment to delivery of high quality customer service

Desired Skills:

Experience with supported applications is a significant plus
Project Management experience highly desired

Minimum Educational Requirements:
College degree
