Job Title:
Senior Associate, Business Consulting

Job Summary:
The Senior Associate of Business Consulting develops innovative strategies to improve business performance. This role draws from a broad portfolio of research and analytic capabilities to define problems, drive innovative ideas, and develop business, operating, and IT strategies. The Senior Associate participates in project delivery, sales pursuits, and developing and supporting sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Review, document and assess client operations
Develop and apply conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches
Coordinate and execute customer, vendor, market analyst, and client interviews, using qualitative and quantitative methods as appropriate, including ethnographic research, in-context interviews, facilitated work sessions, focus groups, and surveys
Conduct primary and secondary research, data collection and market/competitor analyses
Perform financial analysis and develop business cases
Gather, define and prioritize business requirements based upon business and user needs and technology capabilities
Develop and present solutions and recommendations
Work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
Facilitate meetings, working sessions and workshops
Manage tracks of work
Create strong working relationships with clients in business and IT roles
Support business development activities including client proposals
Frequent travel is required

Experience Requirements:
4-year Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree in a relevant research discipline is preferred, but not mandatory.
4-6 years of relevant work experience; consulting experience is a plus
Creativity with an eye to developing new and innovative solutions
Strong problem identification and analytical skills
Primary and secondary research and analysis skills
Financial analysis and business case development capabilities
Leadership experience and the ability to motivate others to take action
Ability to structure and plan projects/programs
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create and deliver clear, powerful and concise presentations/proposals
Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals
Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
