We have an immediate need for a Project Manager - LAN/VoIP.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a Project Manager for 6 Months contract job!!

Requirements:
This person will drive the Emerging Services LAN Assessment program, which will recommend best practices for evaluation of customer premise LANs for VoIP readiness. Further, the program will qualify and/or create tools and processes to implement those practices.

The successful candidate must be capable of direct project management (e.g. ensuring that testing of commercially available LAN and call quality analyzers produce meaningful results within projects allocated time and budget), as well as distributed program management (e.g. creating and driving a program plan that incorporates requirements and feedback from multiple in-house entities as well as major accounts).

Technical Requirements:
-10 years experience in data networking
-Expertise in both VoIP and PSTN technologies
-Acquaintance with a variety of LAN/VoIP equipment/suppliers relevant to this program
-Direct experience with deploying VoIP on customer premise LANs
-Understanding of VoIP call quality metrics/measurements (e.g. MOS/PERC scores)
-Expertise in both LAN and WAN QoS technologies
