Account Executive in Boston, MA

Territory includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Rhode Island. Candidate MUST be located IN or NEAR BOSTON.Qualifications:- BA/BS degree or equivalent with a major in business or marketing- 3-5 years successful software/hardware sales experience (Technical Sales) - Track record of exceeding quota assignment and success in prior sales assignments- Experience selling software or solutions into law firms is required- Experience in a quota bearing direct sales assignment with high transaction volume and moderate average deal size (100-300 transactions per year, 25K average sales size)- Experience selling Cost Recovery, Time & Billing or other Software sold to the IT or Finance departments within law firms is preferred- High energy level/drive to succeed (intensity/persistence)Key Sales Skills: - Superior selling skills with proven sales performance and industry rolodex in target territory- Strong prospecting and closing abilities with Hunter mentality- Ability to sell to medium and smaller firms through the administrative/executive management office- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong presentation and product demonstration skills- Able to listen to customer needs and identify pain points and opportunities by mapping needs and pains to solutions- Ability to develop and deliver effective written proposals- Willing to work long hours (including weekends when necessary) and travel up to 50%- Ability to adapt and respond to dynamic sales environments as they unfold- Ability to work within defined sales process and methodology with close and regular management interaction- Ability to develop and implement opportunity, call and close plans with well-defined strategies and tacticsTechnical Skills:- Demonstrate an understanding of IT infrastructure issues and maintain general knowledge of Legal and Professional market IT environments with understanding and working vocabulary of IT Issues; networks, platforms, business objectives and print infrastructure- Ability to understand and effectively utilize technical information and exhibit strong computer literacy - Learn and deliver client product demonstrations within 90 days of hire- Develop and maintain full mastery of Oracle and other Equitrac sales applications and tools- Proficient with communications and contact management tools as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Account Executive will market and sell client products to Legal and other Professional firms within their respective territories through continuous prospecting and opportunity development. They will be responsible for maximizing new and upgrade sales revenue within their territories. Coordinate sales efforts with peer teams in Sales Engineering, Partner Sales, and Legal Major Accounts as required. The selected candidate will work closely with the Regional Sales Director on a regular basis, including after hours, for prospecting and closing strategies in order to meet territory and regional objectives. They will also work with the Director of Sales Operations and administrative matters to ensure that the opportunity pipeline is accurate and current and to ensure sales process compliance.
