Program Manager for Testing Practice (top-tier consulting,perm,travel in Boston, MA

Meet with large clients to assess QA/testing needs and provide insights into ways to improve processes and provide consulting services (onshore and offshore).Promote extensive use of automation testing and other up-to-date testing models. Generate project proposals, project plans, and overall vision for work to be done. Manage projects from start to finish. Travel during the week, as needed. Required Skills: MUST HAVE SUBSTANTIAL career experience as a permanent employee with a top tier IT consulting firm (ie, IBM Global, Tata, Bearing Point, Accenture, etc.).MUST HAVE solid combination of QA onshore/offshore project management -and- project business development/sales background with the ability to meet with clients to assess their environments and to close the sale of new projects.Additional Mininum Requirements:At least 12 years of Quality Assurance Consulting, systems integration, software development, or IT experience; at least 5 years in a large consulting environment5 years of applications testing experience in a leadership roleExperience selling new project work to existing or new clients.
