Department - Markets Fixed Income (oversees four applications) Description:Our client's Boston Fixed Income development division is seeking an intelligent and driven senior software engineer to develop next generation systems. The qualified individual will have a proven track record delivering high quality results, while thriving in a fast paced environment. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of software engineering, from design through deployment. Essential day to day responsibilities:? Interpret business requirements and work with the team to develop functional documentation and technical specifications. ? Design and develop new solutions utilizing a wide range of technologies. ? Delivery of maintainable, extensible solutions that meet business requirements in a timely fashion with minimal defects? Full life cycle software development from initial requirements through deployment including documentation and maintenance Education requirement:? BA or BS Required Experience: ? 3 ? 5 years Required skills:? C# ? XML? HTML? CSS? Experience writing Web applications using the .NET Framework? ASP .NET ? .NET Web Services ? Familiarity with relational database design - SQL Server? Windows Applications ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills? JavaScript a PLUS!? Any financial industries experience a plus.
