Type: Full TimeCompensation: Base + BenefitsCompany: Global leader of telecommunications equipment and services.Role description:The demand planner is responsible for owning, modeling, developing, and analyzing the "bottoms up" unit forecast for product codes in the demand planner's assigned BU. The demand planner serves as the consolidation / integration point for all sources of forward looking demand that are to be incorporated and modeled as part of the consensus forecasting process. The demand planner is aligned (i.e. embedded) to a BU and interacts closely with the BU product managers and corresponding sales planners. The demand planner also owns and manages the monthly demand forecasting process execution.Required experience: • 4-5 years of demand forecasting or supply chain planning experience.• Advanced knowledge of demand planning and S&OP processes.• Telecommunications and/or high tech manufacturing industry experience.• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.• Strong analytical skills.• Advance mathematics and statistical modeling knowledge.• Strong meeting executing and facilitation skills – ability to influence management.Systems & Software knowledge: • APO DP• MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel / Access)• Advance Reporting Designing and Formatting Skills Collaborative & Teaming Skills:• Strong Leader and Action Oriented• Continuous Improvement Focus• Strong Organization Skills (ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously)• Flexibility / Adaptability• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills (strong meeting facilitation abilities)Ed Education & Certifications: • APICS Certification Desired / Preferred• Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics, Supply Chain, or Engineering• Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, or MBA PreferredIf qualified and interested please send resume to .
