We have an immediate need for a Desktop Support Specialist.

JOB DESCRIPTION
-Provide desktop technical support and troubleshooting to internal clients.
-Monitor OnTarget ticketing queue to insure customer requests are addressed in a timely manne.
-Document all troubleshooting in OnTarget ticket or as prescribed by the project leader.
-Inform the user of any unusual delays in the resolution of his/her call.
-Keep current on technical related issues as it relates to the hardware and software used in the HMM environment.
-No supervision of others. Heavy interaction with both internal clients and peers within department.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Required:
-PC troubleshooting experience with Windows XP and related software. Microsoft Office software, Outlook/Exchange, and connectivity software (dial-up, broadband, wireless, etc.).
-Basic understanding of networking is required.

Preferred:
-Hands-on installation and troubleshooting experience with the software and hardware mentioned.
Required:
-Strong organization, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
-3-5 years cross platform Desktop support experience.
Preferred:
-BS or related work experience.
