Director of Network Administration in Boston, MA

As the Director of Network Administration, you will be responsible for growing and mentoring the IT Staff as well as have significant responsiblity for overall IT operations. This critical role is the 4th tier escalation point for all security, network and telephony related users for the IT Services & Support Team. Responsibilities: Develop and lead the IT team members, which includes but is not limited too daaily huddles, meetings, agendas, and staff management of 6+Perform quarterly and annual review of all IT staff membersManages vendor relationships and oversee all IT purchasingDraft annual IT budget Maintain accountability for network security, performance, uptime & outagesConduct group and one-on-one training for end users and other managers as neededMaintain current certifications relevant to the position including security, development, networking, auditing, and others as required by our clientsServe as the primary liaison with Human Resources to define user roles, access levels, and accurate employee informationMaintain record of work, projects and change control using the IT Ticketing systemOwn the IT security policy and configuration of security equipment and services, including firewalls, network equipment and 3rd party servicesRecommend and prepare justifications for new systems, services or packages which would increase user productivity and capabilitiesMaintain and ensure that the requirements of corporate policy are metRequirements10+ years of experience in a Network Administration role, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacityExpert knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, security, hardware and software related to network administration.High degree of confidentiality in personal and technical communication skills.Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills Process, audit and project management exposure will be an advantage Qualified candidates may submit their resume, including salary requirements, to our recruiting team at .
