IT Strategy - Associate Partner (level), UNIX Arch in Boston, MA

This is an Associate Partner - level position; we are looking for professionals with very strong prior hands-on UNIX Technical Architecture / UNIX Infrastructure Architecture experience. Base salary will go up to $150,000, plus a commission package of 120% to 150% for the right candidates. You MUST have prior HANDS-ON Technical UNIX or Mainframe background, including leading the technical direction for Applications Development, IT Infrastructure, etc.

We are expanding in the WebServices, SOA, Utility-Computing arenas and we need multiple UNIX Infrastructure Architects who can help with IT Sales and Client Engagement Management. We are looking for Technical Leaders with IT Financial Services background to drive our very large customer engagements toward SOA, virtualization, consolidation, etc. You must have prior hands-on UNIX Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, and Mission-Critical Systems Support. You must be articulate and have strong successful experience presenting IT Solutions to CIO, CEO, SVP, and Application Development Manager levels.

Required:
5+ yr hands-on UNIX Infrastructure Architecture (AIX, HPUX, SUN Solaris, or Linux);
Outside Consulting, with direct customer interaction;
2+ yr Leading the IT Technical Direction - UNIX or Mainframe Infrastructure Architecture / Systems;
2+ yr WebServices, Consolidation, Virtualization, Utility Computing, etc;
2+ yr IT Sales Support, formal presentations, technical solutions;
excellent English communications skills; articulate speaker;
Stable work history; long-term employment with medium to large companies;
Up to 70% travel, home weekends;
Live in any major US city East of the Rockies

Preferred: Client Engagement Leadership; Investment and Trading applications; UNIX Administration and Architecture (AIX, HP-UX, SUN Solaris, LINUX); Mainframe Systems (OS390, MVS, DB2, zOS, zSeries); Network Architecture; SOA, WebSphere, Rational, OOAD, etc
