Senior Associate, QA - QA Lead

Job Summary

The primary functions of this position include ensuring conceptualizing QA plans, implementation, ensuring quality & timely delivery, ownership of project-wide initiatives & team leadership. A Senior Associate QA is expected to play a variety of roles such as QA Track Lead (TL), which usually consists of leading a track of 4-6 people or more as a part of a larger project, QA Analyst or QA Designer. In addition he is also expected to play a variety of project support roles.

Key Responsibilities include:

. Responsible for planning, estimating, implementing and driving the QA framework for the software testing life
cycle
. Able to innovate and integrate the QA/Testing lifecycle with the SDLC
. Is able to define and articulate the value of each phase of the Testing on a project to clients and team.
. Working and conceptual knowledge of manual/Automation and Defect tracking tools to help in proper tool selection and set-up
. Is able to drive the complete quality assurance engagement in a project
. Teaches & inspire others and ensures that QA best practices are followed diligently.
. Provide purpose, direction and motivation to his/her team.

Job Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree required
. 4-6 years of relevant experience
. Knowledge/experience in QA Processes, software lifecycle, testing methodology, test automation, defect tracking & test estimation & planning.
. Experience in QA tools, packages and methodologies
. Demonstrated leadership capability, preferably with leadership experience with teams of 3+ people
. Ability to effectively work as a part of a larger project team and clients.
. Frequent travel may be required
