Peoplesoft Solutions Engineer
We are not looking for Peoplesoft consultants. Rather, we need someone who has run Peoplesoft in an internal operations capacity thereby lending credibility to an outsource/ASP model. Compensation for this role is considerable. So if you are looking to make the switch from managing Peoplesoft to an outside pre-sales customer facing role then please read on.
Responsibilities:
- Drive RFPs, proposals, and SOWs.
- Design and articulate the value proposition of the proposed Peoplesoft outsource solution
- Track and report on leads for the region, participate in sales prioritization activities
- Provide leadership in the planning, design, definition and implementation of innovative solutions for the Peoplesoft Practice.
- Work closely with the operations team to gain consensus of proposed solutions to ensure post-sale success.
- Participate in implementation kickoffs and help to transition deployments from sales to delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of technology experience with Information Technology – either in a deployment or support position. Minimum of 2 years specifically with Peoplesoft applications.
- Strong knowledge of the key project management and support processes involved in the successful delivery of a medium to large Peoplesoft ERP implementation.
- Experience should include delivering Peoplesoft solutions to the business within an operations, applications management, or deployment framework.
- For consideration, candidate must be a well spoken and polished Peoplesoft leader with prior experience managing, deploying, or supporting Peoplesoft. Presales or previous sales experience is not required.
- Candidate must have very strong communication skills and be able to present solutions to prospective customers, including handling objections and creating thoughtful dialogue.
- Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, Powerpoint) are required.
- Candidate must be able to travel regionally as needed.
