Salary: $75 -$100K DOE



Our client, a leader in the legal services industry is seeking an Application Developer to join their team full time. This company is very stable, and takes their technology needs very seriously. As such, you will have the opportunity to help shape and create the business applications this companies leaders rely on to run and grow their business.



Job Description:

Define, analyze, and qualify business, functional and technical requirements from key players in the marketing and IT departments; understand the conceptual and business significance of the problem domain; provide detailed project estimates and work plans; ensure standards compliance and systems interoperability; work with business systems owners to support/enhance legacy application integration; author technical specifications and lead technical design efforts; manage or partner with external vendors and service providers to augment capacity or capabilities; write and deploy application code; create and execute test plans - track and resolve defects; prepare and present training materials to business users for the applications you develop.



Requirements:

- Solid understanding of data/content modeling

- Previous experience in a legal services industry is highly desired

- Familiarity with process engineering concepts

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas to a non-technical audience

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

- Firm grasp of object-oriented design principals and patterns

- Familiar with considerations related to web application design and development

- Ability to write succinct and comprehensive documentation using accepted conventions

- 3+ years experience in C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server 2005, XML/XSLT, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS

- Familiarity with SiteCore 5.3 preferred but not required

- Exposure to SharePoint a plus
