PeopleSoft Financials Functional in Boston, MA

Role: PeopleSoft Financials Functional Location: Boston-MADuration: 6+ months Start Date: ASAPJob type: Contract Rate: OpenJob Requirement:The ideal candidate would have an in-depth understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules (Asset Management being the most critical, Accounts Payables, and General Ledger) and some familiarity with Human Resources modules (Base HR, Benefits, Time & Labor). Responsibilities·Gather user requirements and develop specifications. ·Assist in configuration, design, and test various modules as needed to meet needs arising as a result of acquisitions and growth ·Enhance usage of AP, GL, AM processes, implement new functionality ·Train new and existing business users better understand of PeopleSoft functionality ·Lead conversion efforts for AM, GL, AP modules ·Troubleshoot any business process related problems AM - troubleshoot technical and functional problems with various AM processes, support AM customizations GL - Monthly processes, Year end processing, Reconciliations AP - troubleshoot Vendor, Voucher issues, Payment, Reconciliation problems, interface related data exceptions and issues Implement and support various Workflows Must have expertise with PS Query and nVision. Knowledge of Crystal Reports would be a plus Conduct Training and Testing during various phases Experience5 yrs + PeopleSoft Asset Management experience 3-5 years of PeopleSoft General Ledger and Accounts Payables experience Experience with version 8.8, 8.9, or 9.0 Strong communication and facilitation skills Project Management skills desirable Client offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package, a great working environment and the opportunity to be part of a growing IT Team
