eCommerce - SAP Tester in Boston, MA

Terms: 6 month contract

JOB TITLE: eCommerce - SAP Tester

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY (3-5 sentences): Assist the eCommerce - SAP test lead with designing, writing, executing, analyzing functional test for the eCommerce - SAP project. Participates in writing the Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Report. Able to inspect app / web / TIBCO server error logs. Proficient in Unix and knowledgeable of Java, http and xml.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES (General description)
Contribute content to the Test Plan to include identification of the test scenarios
Write detailed test cases
Identify and create test data
Manually execute test cases, document defects and validate defects as fixes are released for retest
Provide test case execution status to the test lead
Use SAP to drive test outputs into an application or to view / validate SAP test inputs from connected applications
Ability to use SQL statements to verify data / test results
Review contents of selected application logs to ensure that nothing is missed
Trace requirements to test cases
Utilize Excel/Access as tools for analysis and/or reporting
General
Ability to work as member of a QA team as well as to work as the lead of QA activities
Able to manage tasks with limited supervision
Good written / communication skills
Attention to detail

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Required: More than 3 years of solid web based testing experience for customer facing applications Preferred: Knowledge of UNIX
Required: Proficient in QA concepts, processes and deliverables Preferred: Knowledgeable of Java, http and xml.
Required: Familiar with three tiered web-based architectures Preferred: Knowledge of SAP
Required: Browser / UI testing Preferred:
Required: Proficient with testing storefronts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required: Technical degree Preferred: Experience includes testing a storefront
