Immediate Desktop Support Specialist Permanent Position in Boston, MA

Premier Financial Services company with hub office in downtown Boston and a worldwide presence is looking to hire immediately a full time permanent Desktop Support Analyst to join their technology team. Company is best known for providing equity research for some of the most prestigious organizations around the world. No travel involved as this is a local position to the Boston office.

The successful Desktop Support Analyst will be part of a team who supports the firm's desktop hardware and software applications as well as assisting with system configuration and general technical troubleshooting.

Experience: * Bachelors Degree required.
* Must have excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability.
* Demonstrated technical experience in the following areas is required: Microsoft Server 2000/2003, PC Hardware, LAN/WAN, MS Office Suite.
* Experience with Ethernet, Citrix, and Active Directory is a large plus.
* Previous experience with an automated call tracking system highly preferred.
