Description
You will be responsible for design and maintenance of UI designs for our gaming applications. This role demands a high percentage of hands-on development, UI design skill, and general Flex proficiency. As an individual contributor, you will work with the product manager and the development engineers.

Reports to: Human Factors and Interfaces Team Leader

Responsibilities

User Interface design, reviews, and adherence to consistent user interface standards
Continually look for ways to improve the usability of the user interface, ease of configuration, and customization across product-line reuse of resources (widgets, images, css, etc.)
Mockup new game scenarios for approval by product management and for use by developers in new implementations

Experience: Required Background/Experience

5+ years of user interface design using Adobe Flash and Flex
Experience working with Flex in a 3D environment
Online portfolio or portfolio required
Ability to design and implement custom Flex widgets and components
Strong design mentality for widget and component libraries
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Flex and Actionscript 3.0
Ability to demonstrate an ability to layout and animate dynamic content
Strong understanding of type use and design
Strong understanding of usability and UI design theory
Familiarity with Massively Multi-player Online (MMO) UI design
Ability to rapid prototype design ideas for iteration in UI treatments
Able to clearly communicate and partner with engineering and design to implement the design vision

Major Pluses to Have

Experience with Scaleform
Proficiency in Autodesk Maya
Web design experience
