Business Systems Analysis Analyst (21682) in Boston, MA

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an experienced BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST to join our team in BOSTON, MA.

Job Responsibilities
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing, administering, and supporting various applications that comprise the revenue cycle of the hospital within a team environment. We seek an experienced professional who will be able to lead initiatives including interacting with the vendor and customer in an effort to design solutions. To succeed, one must possess strong communications skills and experience dealing with conflicting priorities.

Required Skills:
Two to four years progressive experience in systems analysis/programming
Experience with NEHEN, Invision, IDX or SoftMed applications
Ability to translate high-level specifications for software components into designs and implement the designs
Experience planning, conducting, and coordinating programming application activities
Experience with analysis, design, and implementation of business application software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems, questions or processes
Ability to develop statements of problems and requirements, designs systems and programs (writes code)
Knowledge of computer hardware and software subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
Experience developing detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates
Ability to classify problems as system, training, or process and recommend corrections
Ability to provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Experience reviewing system test plans and system tests modules before implementation and reviewing end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, and training materials) for accuracy
Good customer facing skills with the ability to listen
Proven track record of success and strong work ethic

Desired Skills:
Experience with EDI transactions (preferably knowledge of ANSI X12, or HL7 transactions)
Experience with .NET, MS Access, and VB a plus
SQL development experience (queries and stored procedures) strongly desired
Healthcare industry experience a plus
Project management experience a plus

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor degree in computer or healthcare related field or equivalent industry work experience
