Position Summary: We seek a skilled project manager experienced in planning corporate meetings and conventions through a combination of in-house resources and professional service providers. This position will include strategic and tactical planning for company sponsored meetings, conventions, and trade shows. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction with various internal client groups regarding the development of meeting objectives and maximizing the impact of various events for external outreach, education, communication, and relationship building Conceptualize, research, and recommend creative meeting approaches that fully engage attendees and support the company's mission. Oversee and manage event details including site selection, contract negotiation, budget analysis, design elements, transportation manifests, agendas, meeting materials, etc. Manage budgets, control costs, and promote efficiency of meetings Serve as the day-to-day contact and liaison for supplier agencies. Team leader both in the office and onsite. Qualifications: - College Degree - Life Science Experience OR Provider Experience (One Required, Both Desired) - 6-10 Years Relevant Provider Experience - Global Experience Required - Electronic Based Meeting Management Tools Experience(StarCite, Meeting Matrix, Delphi) - Vendor Management Experience - Strategic Partnering Experience - Existing Supplier Relationships (Resource Base) - Tradeshow Experience Desired - Presentation Experience Want to learn more about us?
