Clinical Project Manager Sr Specialist (25198) in Boston, MA

Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Clinical Project Manager Sr Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the principal leadership of the project team in terms of work assignment, timely completion of work, and utilization of project team members to accomplish customer expectations.
Lead the implementation of the Soarian clinical applications at Tufts Medical Center. Manage projects to meet timelines and budgets as defined by the Soarian Program.
Manage resources to ensure successful completion of project deliverables. Resources include Perot Systems associates as well as customer resources and vendor personnel.
Lead project status meetings and update project schedule on a weekly basis.
Manage project issues and risks.
Update project budget on a monthly basis and provide budget updates to CIO and CFO, obtaining approval for any variances.
Provide Perot Systems executives, industry leaders and account leaders, as well as customer senior executives with necessary leadership, assistance, guidance and advise to ensure good practices in standard methodologies and processes throughout the engagement.
Serve as business partner in development, sales, service design, existing business growth and delivery of new business for Perot Systems.
Develop strong and positive rapport with key users, particularly CMO, Nursing Information Systems Director, and Director of Pharmacy.

Required Skills:
Soarian Clinicals project management experience
Strong customer-facing project management skills (ability to meet schedules and stay within budget, excellent communications at all levels, focus on customer satisfaction)
Strong administrative project management skills (maintaining project schedule, status reports, budget, compliance with project management methodology)
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)

Desired Skills:
CPOE implementation experience
Ability to effectively manage diverse resources (Perot Systems associates, customer resources, vendor personnel)

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
PMP certification strongly preferred.
PMI membership and participation
Performer PMQP Certification for Internal candidates required
Master Level PMQP Certification for Internal candidates preferred
