Position Summary:

Millennium is seeking a project manager and business analyst to develop and support our Commercial Systems platform. The platform supports the business activities of Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Global Medical Affairs.

The incumbent will have the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial organization and IT colleagues (e.g. Data Warehousing & Reporting, Business Systems, and Infrastructure & Operations) to manage projects that will enhance and extend our platform and support our on-going operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and will be comfortable working in a dynamic business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Work with business users and technical colleagues to define and develop strategies to resolve business problems.
. Assist business users in evaluating effectiveness and efficiencies of business processes and document those processes as part of project definition and system design.
. Work closely with business representatives and other team members to ensure business and technical requirements are clearly documented and understood.
. Utilize Millennium's SDLC and validation processes in managing projects including the development of key project documentation: business cases, risk assessments, project plans and schedules, user requirements, business process models, test plans and scripts, training plans, and SOPs.
. Collaborate with vendors/consultants on outsourced solutions providing project management oversight and ensuring close coordination and communication among all stakeholders.
. Where appropriate develop solutions leveraging advanced business user capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint 2007, the Microsoft Office Suite, Cognos Reporting, and .
. Provide limited support for on-going operations - activities may include handling administrative tasks, user requests, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users.

Qualifications:

Basic Educational Qualifications: BS or MS in Computer Science or other scientific/engineering discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience managing software implementation projects through the entire lifecycle.

Proficiency in one or more technical areas: Microsoft SharePoint / .NET, , Cognos Reporting.

Experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical organization, especially in Commercial, is preferred.
