Solutions Sales Executive (25785) in Boston, MA

Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Solutions Sales Executive to join our Commercial Sales Team. Due to travel requirements this individual can live anywhere in the domestic United States.

Job Responsibilities:
This individual will have responsibility for identifying, qualifying, leading, negotiating and closing the largest and/or most complex ERP and consulting sales pursuits (multi-functional & cross lines of business). They will need to develop comprehensive new business opportunity plans to assist in the identification and further qualification of ERP and consulting sales opportunities with both existing, and especially new logo, clients. Through building relationships at the C-Level, they will acquire an in-depth understanding of the political and organizational structure of targeted prospects, their current competitive landscape, and move to develop solutions that advance the client’s strategic objectives. The Sales Executive will drive to leverage account sales, or potential sales, into new revenue for other lines of business. Throughout the sales life cycle, this individual will provide overall thought leadership to the DELL sales process.
Continually evaluates prospect targets in global 1000 to build pipeline.
Pursues entry into new clients via solutions-based value propositions.
Apply expert business skills and methodologies to direct the collection and analysis of data and deliver complex solutions to clients at the executive level.
Provide thought leadership on the development of new ERP services offerings and potential market trends.
Exhibits excellent judgment in making pursue/no-pursue decisions.
Act as a leading authority on ERP service offerings and displays a deep working knowledge of others.

Required Skills:
8+ years of solution sales experience at a Tier 1 I.T. Solutions Provider selling large, multi-year, multi-service, or complex ERP service contracts or on-going consulting services.
Specific knowledge of Oracle family products or SAP products. Recent success leading sales of services related to them.
12+ years of relevant experience in multiple industries, consulting services offerings or ERP functional area.
Experience to include performing above outlined in Job Responsibilities.
Demonstrable track record of success over the previous 5 years against assigned quotas.
Experience identifying, developing, and managing relationships at the senior executive and CXO levels. Need to demonstrate knowledge of both the business and personal factors that influence decisions at these levels.
Possess the industry, technology, and client knowledge necessary to develop a creative, differentiating solution. Need to be able to challenge established practices diplomatically, and take necessary risks to achieve these differentiating solutions.

Skilled at assembling a high-performance team for highly complex deals.
Contributes to the creation of intellectual capital for the service line or practice.
Experienced in working pursuits involving external partners and understands the dynamics and issues associated with developing business with partners.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree.
