Clinical Systems Analyst (8398) in Boston, MA

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Clinical Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Boston, MA.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide clinical analyst support on Soarian implementation team:
  • Work proactively with nursing, ancillary, and physician clinical users to identify requirements.
  • Use technical and analytical skills to determine best approaches to tailoring system to meet individual requirements.
  • Configure Soarian application to meet requirements.
  • Perform detailed application testing.
  • Develop strong and positive rapport with key nursing users, particularly Nursing Information Systems Director, to ensure that nursing needs are quickly prioritized and addressed.
  • Develop strong and positive rapport with key physician users, particularly Chief Medical Officer, to provide best possible IS support and lay a positive foundation for future Physician Order Entry (POE) initiatives.
  • Participate in Siemens User Groups and online listservs, and review contents of Siemens Customer Memos, to ensure optimization of the capabilities of the Soarian system.

    Required Skills:
  • 2+ Years Clinical Systems Analyst Experience - any system
  • Technical and analytical implementation skills
  • Knowledge of clinical user requirements

    Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of Siemens Soarian clinical applications
  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to learn new vendor applications quickly and utilize application tools to tailor system to meet user requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of customer personnel
  • Strong rapport skills with IT team members

    *May be needed for after-hours ?on call? support to troubleshoot and resolve system problems escalated by the service management team.*
