TeamSite Content Manager in Boston, MA

Consulting Experience: Robert Half Technology is currently seeking a TeamSite content manager for a three month contract to hire opportunity. POSITION SUMMARY This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment to integrate the work of writers and designers to create online presentations for registered users. RESPONSIBILITIES •Produce and maintain content for the Provider Portal using Interwoven TeamSite 6.5 while adhering to client's style guide, HTML guidelines and templates developed for the portal. •Create and maintain detailed documentation on updates and processes. •Produce and distribute email publications by request; and on a monthly and quarterly basis using proprietary email distributions systems. •Participate in the evolution of a departmental unified traffic and approval system by providing guidance in web production methodologies and requirements; identifying best practices; and actively participating in the collective effort to communicate and collaborate with the highest level of efficiency. •Work collaboratively with IT partners to accomplish project objectives. •Track site usage using Net Tracker; report generation •Optimize search engine performance •Serve as technical lead in department SKILLS REQUIRED •Hand coding of XHTML 1+, XML, CSS 1+, JavaScript •Interwoven TeamSite 6.5 •Conversion from Word, PDF and Quark Express formats into well formed, XHTML strict compliant code. •Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat,Dreamweaver •Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) •QuarkXpress 6.0 •Ability to optimize images for the web; color retouching, image creation •Demonstrated knowledge of information architecture and user interface design Experience and Education: QUALIFICATIONS •BA/BS in Marketing, Business, MIS or Communications or equivalent. •At least 2-3 years previous Internet content management and development experience using content management systems •Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills; attention to detail •Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment •Ability to be flexible with work schedule and prioritize based on multiple interdependent criteria •Experience in healthcare industry a plus If you feel that you are a qualified candidate please email your resume to or call 617.439.3000 as soon as possible.
