UI Developer in Boston, MA

Small but fast growing company is seeking a UI Develper who can work on a PC+web application designed to let you create instant personal sharing networks of friends, family, classmates, colleagues, or your own devices. The UI developer would be developing and building the next generation of Tubes UI, HTML & Javascript and working on enhancements. The size of the development team this person would be working with is about 6 people and he or she will be reporting directly to the Development Manager. Experience: Expert knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX frameworks Experience in creating x-browser (IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari) scripts and pages and understanding browser compatibility issues Knowledge of and experience with technologies used in web site front-ends, including but not limited to HTML, CSS/CSS2, XML/XSL/XSLT Know how to work with Browser DOM and JavaScript to transform XML to XHTML Understanding of basic relational database concepts and knowledge of SQL Basic knowledge of object and component methodology and technology. Nice to have: Experience working with Visual studio and .NET Possess working knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, C# preferable Understanding of ASPX, ASMX.
