Performance Developer in Boston, MA

Position overview

This position has development responsibility for maintaining Acadian's performance measurement and attribution systems. The role also provides backup development support for several operations automation tasks, such as automated daily reconciliation and exceptions processing. This role reports to the Performance Development Lead.

Responsibilities

.Take responsibility for the maintenance of performance measurement and attribution systems.
.Assist the Performance Development Lead with gathering and documentation of performance measurement and attribution system technical requirements from operations, client service and portfolio construction groups.
.Provide access to performance information through ASP and ASP.NET Web pages.
.Develop automated extract programs for loading performance data from both proprietary and commercially available accounting systems.
.Maintain, enhance and develop new performance oriented stored procedures within SQL Server environment.
Experience: Qualifications

.B.S. in computer science or equivalent.
.Minimum 10 years software development experience.
.Minimum 5 years experience with software development in a financial services environment.
.Prior experience with performance and performance measurement systems desired.
.Must be highly skilled in Visual Studio 6.0 (C++ and Visual Basic).
.Experience with reporting packages such as Crystal Reports desired.
.Must have strong expertise with MS SQL Server, Transact-SQL and DTS.
.Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills.
.Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
.Strong organization skills and detail-oriented.
.Good teamwork skills.
