JOB SUMMARY:



The IT Site Support Coordinator has primary responsibility for coordinating the maintenance, provisioning, and repair of PCs and related Site Support assets for their own location.

As well as coordinate all work activities with the team in their location and report to the Desktop Services Supervisor and Manager.

Coordinate inventory levels with the firm Asset Coordinator and fill in as a backup when needed.







ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



· Assist Site Support Specialists with escalated client issues including trouble tickets and systemic problems

· Coordinate day to day activities surrounding tickets, loaner laptops and BBs.

· Coordinate events such as moves, and projects.

· Schedule and coordinate activities relating to the installation, maintenance and day-to-day management of personal computers, and PC-related software and hardware

· Work with the Desktop Engineering, Desktop Support, and User Support teams to assist, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware related problems

· Coordinate the receipt, storage, and disposal of computer hardware with the Asset Coordinator.

· Provide back up support to the Asset coordinator for the firm.

· Collect and log data on support problems, including follow-up until successful completion.

Records all daily support activity in the call tracking system

· Facilitate ticket work with the Site Support Specialists on site.

· Ensure accurate record keeping of all personal computers and related equipment

· Inspect, install, and perform diagnostics and repairs on computers and related equipment

· Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance checks and equipment moves throughout the firm as needed



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:



·High school graduate

·Minimum 5 - 7 years desktop computer systems experience

·Advanced knowledge of PC hardware and desktop operating systems.

·Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Working Conditions:



Normal office environment.

Incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
