Senior Sales / Support Engineer in Boston, MA

Responsibilities

This is a unique role that combines sales/support engineering, and product development. Your primary responsibility will be to lead all phases of customer engagements with strategic clients, including pre-sales, customization, and post-sale integration. Contribute to design of a highly scalable process for customer deployments. Contribute to product requirements, rolling up important lessons learned from field customization. In addition, you will work in product development to implement the product features most sought after by clients. This is a well-funded start-up opportunity where you will work along side of experimental AI and video research.



Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of customer management or pre-sales engineering experience

- 1 to 2 years of product development experience in web technologies HTML, JavaScript & XML

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience developing using J2EE technologies

- Product delivery a RDBM/DBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle or alike) environment

- Experience in Unix/Linux environment

- Excitement to build something new and work aggressively to meet new goals

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science

- Up to 20% travel

- US citizenship or permanent resident



A plus

- Start-up experience

- Experience working w/ streaming content in Windows Media, Real Media, QuickTime and/or Flash

- Advanced engineering or computer science degree
