Business Support Analyst in Boston, MA

Growing global, independant software and services vendor is seeking a Business Support analyst to join their growing Boston location.

Job Description: Candidate will maintain the soft coded (configuration) elements of a customers dise environment. Will develop an all around knowledge of dise, as well as develop an understanding of customers' processes and procedures. Candidate will use available company literature to develop a thorough understanding of the business.

Experience:
- IT focused and computer literate.
- 1-3 years experience in telecommunications and/or customer/care billing systems.

Reponsibilities:
- Gain an all around understanding of dise functionality, with a view to learning all aspects of dise configuration, using the online tracking system and training notes.
- Analyze customers' configuration requests, considering the impact on existing configuration/ business procedures and to advise when alternative options may be applicable.
- Carry out all individual configuration tasks to the required quality helpdesk calls.
- Assist senior team members with project related task and environment configuration.
- Work under own initiative, controlling workload and lending support to other areas of the team/company.
- Travel may be required to spend some time at customer site as and when required. This will be utilized to support and assist sales.
